This role involves providing generalist HR support to our clients, both on-site and via telephone and email. Our HR Managers / Advisors are assigned a number of dedicated clients which they support in HR matters such as updating policies and procedures, disciplinaries and grievances, absence management, recruitment & selection and restructures.
The job is based at our offices in London’s West End, but involves frequent travel to client sites across the South East.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience at either HR Advisor, HR Manager or Business Partner level and must be partly or fully CIPD qualified. A practical, working knowledge of employment law is essential. In addition, you must be able to quickly build and maintain credible working relationships and be flexible in your approach to work with clients with different cultures and practices.
This role is responsible for handling the day-to-day HR Administration for a number of our external clients. Based at our offices in London’s West End, most of the work is carried out via telephone and email and using our advanced web-based HR system, although there is some occasional face-to-face client work.
Key responsibilities include maintaining HR data and records, generating employment contracts and letters, analysing HR reports, tracking absence, carrying out exit interviews and maintaining payroll and benefits records. Some Client HR Administrators are also assigned payroll responsibilities, dependent on experience.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience within an HR Administration position, although graduates with an HR or related qualification will also be considered. Microsoft Office skills are essential and previous experience of using a HR database is an advantage.
You must have an excellent telephone manner and be a clear and effective communicator. Equally important is the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and take a proactive approach in order to meet strict deadlines.
