Fully Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified with a Masters in Strategic HR, Marc is a prominent Reward and Performance Management specialist. As Managing Director for PlusHR, Marc has built a reputation of providing commercially pragmatic HR guidance advice. He has held a number of HR positions from Lloyds TSB, Centrica, Reuters to British American Tobacco. Marc is also the co-author of HR for Small Business for Dummies.

Binita Malde

Commercial Manager

Binita began her HR career working within resourcing for Debenhams. She has worked with PlusHR clients from EMI to Harper Collins plus SME’s in the finance, new media and IT sectors. She currently oversees the commercial and operational aspects of the business from financial planning and analysis, contractual obligations to coordinating sales and marketing activity.

Elaine Howell

Fully Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified, Elaine began her career at Molex plc, then ITV plc in their News Group, where she was responsible for the ITV Meridian, Central and Anglia regions as well as their political bureau in London. Elaine has generalist HR experience within media, telecoms and manufacturing sectors. Specialisms are TUPE, change projects, complex employee relations cases and talent management.

Fully Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified, Laura has considerable generalist HR experience in manufacturing, defence, insurance and retail based businesses. Laura’s expertise are helping businesses reduce absence costs and eliminate employment relation risks. Her focus is on enabling business leaders to retain and develop top performers whilst ensuring that a flexible workforce is in place aligned to business objectives.

Fully Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) qualified, Michael’s career has largely been spent in a number of operational and strategic HR roles within the Media (Music, Publishing and TV) and Hospitality (Hotel, Restaurant and Contract/Retail catering) sectors where he has worked in all areas, for the last twelve years as a senior Human Resources business partner.

Clare Brown

Payroll Manager

Clare started her career in payroll 15 years ago working as an administrator at an American Navy base. Clare moved to work within a large payroll bureau enabling her to gain experience of payrolls of multiple frequencies and across many different sectors, including retail and banking. Clare’s expertise also covers end of tax year processing and P11Ds. Clare is now the Payroll Manager for PlusHR and has been implementing new client payrolls, as well as running multiple client payrolls.

Ben started his HR career in Retail working with Superdry and has since gained a wealth of experience in the Health & Fitness industry and assisting with managing employee relations in contact centres such as Xerox Services. Ben brings a generalist background to PlusHR with strong experience in Recruitment, TUPE and Redundancy.

Lina has generalist experience and has most recently worked for a Security company in a varied role. Her responsibilities have included contracts of employment, right to work checks, payroll activities, dealing with employee staff matters, attending employee meetings as an HR representative, arranging job interviews, screening candidates, as well as maintaining and updating employee records.

Mandy has over 10 years experience as a HR Practitioner including in-house roles at IKEA, Xerox, EDS (now HP) and Cisco Systems. Mandy’s experience and knowledge covers a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including recruitment, performance management, discipline and grievances, legal audit and compliance. Mandy also has invaluable insights and systems related skills from implementing a new payroll and time and attendance system and off-shore migration of a HR administration function to India.
