How does the template contract of employment and employee handbook work?

Template Employee Handbook

As part of the Elite package you will receive a template employee handbook with all relevant HR policies designed for your business. In order to create the employee handbook the HR team will contact you to run through the template HR policies required within your employee handbook. Following this, your template employee handbook will be updated for your business and sent to you for approval. Once approved the HR team will upload the employee handbook in PDF format on to your HR system for employee access.

Template Contract of Employment

To ensure you have all the right tools for your business, all our packages feature a legally compliant template contract of employment you can tailor for the needs of your business.

Existing Employee Handbook / Contract of Employment

If you have an existing employee handbook or contract of employment and would like to continue to use this, our HR team can also undertake a full review to ensure this is legally compliant and reflects your company practices. What are the charges for bespoke or on-site HR Management support?

One of PlusHR’s specialisms is providing bespoke HR Management support. Our fully qualified and experienced team of HR Managers cover the length and breadth of the UK and can be as hands on as you need. If you need specific bespoke HR Management Support we can provide this by telephone and email for a pay as you go hourly rate. Our HR Managers can also visit your premises and undertake a range of HR actions.Our fees for this service are transparent and priced competitively without a premium (like our competitors) for a minimum half a day (3 hours) booking plus travel expenses. Does the HR Advisory service cover outside of the UK?

We specialise exclusively in UK employment law and HR best-practice. This is great if you are UK-based – we’re home-grown experts, and we’re really really good at what we do. Unfortunately, however, we do not offer any services for overseas employers.

Do you offer indemnity cover?

We don’t offer indemnity cover for our clients as we believe they can restrict a company’s ability to act. For Indemnity cover to apply, companies are expected to follow advice given to the letter, which can lead to unnecessary delays in dealing with an issue. In addition, cover does not allow for taking a calculated risk, for example if a client company wanted to end an employment relationship quickly.
